What a class looks like

Each 75-minute session is built around you — not a fixed sequence everyone has to follow.

Movement — asana
A gentle, progressive sequence of postures adapted to the group. Every pose has modifications — nobody is expected to perform or keep up.
Breathwork — pranayama
Breathing techniques woven through the session. These are one of the most practical tools you'll take away — useful in everyday life, not just on the mat.

Suitable for everyone

Classes are open to all experience levels. Here's what that looks like in practice:

Complete beginners
Complete beginners to yoga are welcome.
Regular practitioners
If you're used to Vinyasa, Hatha, or other styles, you'll find Viniyoga takes a noticeably different approach — breath-led, individually adapted, and genuinely therapeutic.
People with injuries or health conditions
Every posture can be modified or adapted to suit your body.

I leave feeling calm, uplifted and refreshed. Susie creates a genuinely warm and supportive space to practise — I've been coming for four years and it never gets old.

Equipment & what to bring

You don't need much — just a yoga mat and comfortable clothing you can move freely in. That's it.

  • A yoga mat (see suggestions opposite)
  • Comfortable, stretchy clothing
  • A water bottle
  • An open mind — that's the most important thing

If you're joining online, you'll also need a clear space large enough for your mat and a stable internet connection for Zoom.

Not sure which mat to buy? These are both reliable, affordable options well-suited to beginners:

You can find yoga mats in most sports shops too — Decathlon and TK Maxx often have good options at reasonable prices.
